Kathy
Larsen, the principal owner of Katy Online Design, has been
"online" since the early days of America Online approximately
14 years ago. She has developed websites for several organizations,
and has been directly responsible for all aspects of website production,
including design, copywriting, photography, graphic creation, domain
name selection and registration, search engine optimization, JavaScript
and CGI
scripting, file transfer, and hosting management.
Marketing and
advertising are the cornerstones of Kathy's expertise, and during her
20-year career in the communications field, she has developed many
successful print-oriented campaigns targeted to many types of customers.
Her strengths include researching and writing text for websites as well
as brochures and related printed sales pieces, print advertisements, and
newspaper articles.
She has written for the
Baltimore Business Journal and the Houston Business Journal as
well as The Katy Times and her articles and photographs have appeared in
The Houston Chronicle, The Katy Sun and The New Katy News.
Kathy holds a B.S.
degree in Journalism from the University of Maryland and a Masters
degree in Administrative Science from Johns Hopkins University in
Baltimore, Maryland.
